HMG Staff

Ruth Gilchrist, BA. Service Coordinator.  Ruth graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Psychology.  Before joining HMG, she worked for Pathways in Mentor, the YMCA in Perry doing day care and at Bass Lake Child Care in Chardon as the director of the program.  Ruth loves to read, watch movies and spend time with her two young daughters.

Deborah Pruce, RN. Service Coordinator. I am the mother of two sons and have worked with parents and children in my profession as a registered nurse over the past 16 years. Prior to HMG, I worked at Geauga Hospital and Middlefield Care Center as a maternity nurse and for Geauga Health Department at the Immunization Clinics. I particularly enjoy coordinating resources for families of children who have medical diagnoses or were born prematurely.  Ph: 440-729-5250 x 1531

Carrie Kowalski, BA. Service Coordinator. With a Lake Erie College Bachelor’s degree in Social Science with a concentration in Early Childhood Education, I have worked with children for more than eight years, including 3+ years with HMG. I volunteer for many nonprofit organizations and recently the majority of my free time has been devoted to my two dogs, my upcoming wedding, and my new home.

Rochelle Payne, LSW. Service Coordinator. I am a licensed social worker with a bachelor’s degree in social work. I have worked in Geauga County with children and their families since 1995.    I am the mother of three children.

Liz St. James, BA. Clinical Supervisor & Family Support . I am a mother of three young children and prior to working for Help Me Grow, my daughter was part of the Geauga HMG Program. Having resided in Geauga County for most of my life, I know a lot of the resources in the county along with a lot of the people. Nancy Seelbach, MSW. HMG Project Director. I am a licensed social worker with a master’s degree in social work. I have been working in Geauga County with families and children for over 25 years. I have two grown sons and a two-year-old granddaughter. To me, HMG is one of the best programs ever provided in Geauga County for families with young children and I am excited to be part of it!  Ph: 440-285-1201
