Ruth Gilchrist, BA. Service Coordinator. Ruth graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Psychology. Before joining HMG, she worked for Pathways in Mentor, the YMCA in Perry doing day care and at Bass Lake Child Care in Chardon as the director of the program. Ruth loves to read, watch movies and spend time with her two young daughters.

| Deborah Pruce, RN. Service Coordinator. I am the mother of two sons and have worked with parents and children in my profession as a registered nurse over the past 16 years. Prior to HMG, I worked at Geauga Hospital and Middlefield Care Center as a maternity nurse and for Geauga Health Department at the Immunization Clinics. With a Lake Erie College Bachelor’s degree in Social Science with a concentration in Early Childhood Education, I have worked with children for more than eight years, including 3+ years with HMG. I volunteer for many nonprofit organizations and recently the majority of my free time has been devoted to my two dogs, my upcoming wedding, and my new home.

Jennifer Thrush, BA. Service Coordinator. I graduated from Notre Dame College with a BA in Early Childhood Education and I'm a certified teacher for grades PreK-3. I have a long history of working with special needs children and I taught for several years before joining the Help Me Grow initiative in Cuyahoga county in 2006. I am thrilled to be the newest member of Geauga County's Help Me Grow team and I look forward to working with the great families in this area!
